From a Vision to Two Iconic Lounges
Tasting Room began in the 1990s in Monona as a liquor and wine store that also sold cigars. What started as a passion for great products and great people quickly grew into something more.

A New Chapter
Jason and Jessica Smith became the new owners, bringing a renewed vision for the business.
Tasting Room Experience
With the success of new ownership, it was apparent that Tasting Room would need a new home. A location in Monona was selected, and the new Tasting Room began taking shape — this time with a patio overlooking the Yahara River waterfront, an extensive bar, a curated humidor, and an indoor lounge.
With the success and strong community in Monona, we expanded to Waunakee — a new chapter for Tasting Room. Our newest location brings the same commitment to exceptional cigars, crafted cocktails, hospitality, and camaraderie, while creating its own distinct experience.
